Our Story
Turio was born from a simple experience we had visiting the Mambila Plateau and Gembu regions of Taraba State Nigeria and the observation we made there: Nigeria's rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities were often experienced through impersonal, standardized tours that missed the essence of what makes the country special.
Founded in 2024, we set out to create a platform that would connect visitors with knowledgeable local guides who could provide authentic, personalized experiences that showcase the real Nigeria.
Today, we're proud to be building a community of passionate guides and curious travelers, all united by a love for genuine experiences and cultural exchange.
